Hi, I’m Nic Manshon. Creativity, for me, started back when I was drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and entering Mother’s Day competitions for KTV. I always loved art as a kid and did it as a subject throughout my schooling career.  If I were to be totally honest, I never saw a career in creativity in high school, even though art was my highest marked subject.  Hence, I went to study personal training straight after high school and thereafter worked for Virgin Active for a while. Soon enough I realized that it wasn’t for me. Nonetheless, I believe nothing is lost with learning. After having these feelings to change my career, I started exploring creativity again. That was a good choice! The journey started out at CPUT, studying industrial design and serving at a local church, heading up the media department. Bold, sophisticated and outspoken. These are the words most commonly associated with “Yowlee”. There is more to me than the exterior. I dare to dream and work towards realising my aspirations.

I’m Siyolo Tembo the founder of Wootton, which is an upcoming online based cosmetic store. Coming from a small underestimated town called Welkom, opportunities were limited, in fact almost non-existent. But I’m a ‘half full glass’ type of person, so I saw this as an advantage, I became a model for local magazines. I have worked with many clothing labels like, Guess, Sissy Boy and Red Bat to name a few. ‘Where did this obsession for fashion come from?’. Well… I’m a daughter of fashion, literally, my mother the winner of Vukani Fashion Awards 2005 was the one who introduced me to the fashion world, and by default I became a model for one of the most prestigious fashion shows in South Africa, thus my love for fashion grew.

A friend once told me ‘marry someone who makes you feel and look great’ so I married the camera. Being a lover of fashion paired with being camera friendly made me realise that my hobbies and interests could be profitable. I gladly announce that I am now in collaboration with a couple of stores and photographers in South Africa and we are in the process of starting a blog where I will be a social influencer.

‘There is more to me than the exterior’. I am a law Student at the University of Freestate and I want to be an inspiration to our young beautiful girls. Beauty is worth something but brains are everything.

Where am I now? A few steps away from living my dream.

‘I aspire to inspire before the day I expire.’
