Hi, I’m Nic Manshon. Creativity, for me, started back when I was drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and entering Mother’s Day competitions for KTV. I always loved art as a kid and did it as a subject throughout my schooling career.  If I were to be totally honest, I never saw a career in creativity in high school, even though art was my highest marked subject.  Hence, I went to study personal training straight after high school and thereafter worked for Virgin Active for a while. Soon enough I realized that it wasn’t for me. Nonetheless, I believe nothing is lost with learning. After having these feelings to change my career, I started exploring creativity again. That was a good choice! The journey started out at CPUT, studying industrial design and serving at a local church, heading up the media department. After that, I got a scholarship for digital filmmaking at SAE. I never received a scholarship before so I was super stoked to do the course, not rea

Shane Biegnaar

“We all want a piece of the pie, but no one is going to cut you a slice,” are the words which keep playing in my head and keeps me going. Im at a point in my life whereby I am going out and getting my slice.

My government name is Shane Biegnaar, was born and raised in the sunny south side of Cape Town but now living in the city of gold. I usually get confused to whether I'm Ethiopian, Zulu, Jamaican, or mostly just foreign for that matter. I completed my degree in Finance and Investments, then started working at a fashion retail start-up and which had allowed me to pursue a career as a fashion buyer for the past few years. Which was the opportunity to be able to work with really great brands, attend all the VIP fashion shows and also shake hands with big names in the retail game.

In 2014 I started my own entertainment, fashion, culture and lifestyle online magazine called ‘’The Bizniz Blog’’. Which has grown over the years both in numbers and acknowledgement, and now employs about 10 young writers and creatives. This has now allowed me to start my own creative agency which is focused on assisting, developing and managing local brands. The vision and mission is to build long and sustaining local brands with a global footprint in fashion, art and music.

I am motivated and driven by one day being able to inspire others by my story and what I have done and how I have been able to influence the generations to come. With the hope and determination that we can do what ever we put our hearts and mind too, just living a life of purpose.
