Nic Manshon

Hi, I’m Nic Manshon. Creativity, for me, started back when I was drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and entering Mother’s Day competitions for KTV. I always loved art as a kid and did it as a subject throughout my schooling career.  If I were to be totally honest, I never saw a career in creativity in high school, even though art was my highest marked subject.  Hence, I went to study personal training straight after high school and thereafter worked for Virgin Active for a while. Soon enough I realized that it wasn’t for me. Nonetheless, I believe nothing is lost with learning. After having these feelings to change my career, I started exploring creativity again. That was a good choice! The journey started out at CPUT, studying industrial design and serving at a local church, heading up the media department. After that, I got a scholarship for digital filmmaking at SAE. I never received a scholarship before so I was super stoked to do the course, not rea

Lisa Magwebu

Where are you in life right now?

Lol I had to repeat that question to myself a couple of times before actually answering it, like ...ehm...

Well my name is Lisa Magwebu, a fine young lady from Cape Town. It feels as though it was yesterday when i said my goodbyes to the only place I call home. In pursuit of a better career opportunity granted to me four years ago, where I jetted off to a country I knew nothing about.
Ever since then, I have been living in Jeddah, KSA (Middle East) working as an International Cabin crew.

It is an amazing experience working with multi-nationalities and traveling to places I have only dreamt of. Who would have thought that I would travel the world, have breakfast in Paris and wonder off in the City that never sleeps, New York City baby yeah! I honestly don't regret seizing this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Being the ambitious individual that I am, I solely started an online hair company called @Boss_chichair. I love everything to do with Beauty but I am more passionate and skilled in the hair department. I am also a wig maker so if you are having too many of those bad hair days, hit me up sis lol.

I've been doing freelance modelling on the side as-well, basically I try to have a finger in every pie.

What inspires me in life are people who built their empires from the ground up. I get motivated by rags to riches stories, basically by anyone brave enough to change their situation, anyone that had nothing but today their living the dream. It only proves to me that nothing is written in stone and it is never too late to change your life around. The unfortunate situations you might be facing today does not determine your future. If you work hard enough, apply your mind and soul, you can achieve anything.

In the future I see myself being my own boss. A successful multi-business owner, creating opportunities for others.

My favourite inspirational quote: "Always aim for the moon, if you miss you might hit a star"! It keeps me pushing everyday.
