Hi, I’m Nic Manshon. Creativity, for me, started back when I was drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and entering Mother’s Day competitions for KTV. I always loved art as a kid and did it as a subject throughout my schooling career.  If I were to be totally honest, I never saw a career in creativity in high school, even though art was my highest marked subject.  Hence, I went to study personal training straight after high school and thereafter worked for Virgin Active for a while. Soon enough I realized that it wasn’t for me. Nonetheless, I believe nothing is lost with learning. After having these feelings to change my career, I started exploring creativity again. That was a good choice! The journey started out at CPUT, studying industrial design and serving at a local church, heading up the media department. After that, I got a scholarship for digital filmmaking at SAE. I never received a scholarship before so I was super stoked to do the course, not rea

Currently a career man in marketing and relationship management (been in loyalty/rewards marketing for more than 7 years now) with a passion and drive for running and overall functional fitness. My wife, kids and family have always been an inspiration to my career and fitness as my career sees to taking care of them and our futures and the fitness ensures I can always enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle with them – leading by example on the latter. I really love my running – taking me anywhere, with little material requirement and maximum enjoyment in time of the day, all year long and what’s better is that it is a passion I can share with family and friends.

Aspiring to always be my kids hero and inspire them to be better people every day, I want to do amazing things and show them that nothing great comes without hard work – as my parents showed me through their life until this present day.

I continue to pursue my passion of running and fitness and taking it further each day. Being sponsored by one of the biggest brands in running, an ASICS FrontRunner this year I saw as one of many steps towards my goals; bringing together my skills of my career, enjoyment of life with my passion for fitness to get others active. Always outgoing, sociable and engaging is what I enjoy being and this has always given me the opportunities I have seen in my life and can only say many more to come, God willing. A card I received from a family friend all the way back in primary school said, “Your Attitude Determines Your Altitude”, so I push for the highs with all the positive energy!
