Nic Manshon

Hi, I’m Nic Manshon.
Creativity, for me, started back when I was drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and entering Mother’s Day competitions for KTV. I always loved art as a kid and did it as a subject throughout my schooling career.
If I were to be totally honest, I never saw a career in creativity in high school, even though art was my highest marked subject.
Hence, I went to study personal training straight after high school and thereafter worked for Virgin Active for a while. Soon enough I realized that it wasn’t for me. Nonetheless, I believe nothing is lost with learning.
After having these feelings to change my career, I started exploring creativity again. That was a good choice!
The journey started out at CPUT, studying industrial design and serving at a local church, heading up the media department. After that, I got a scholarship for digital filmmaking at SAE. Zibele Makolo

I'm Zibele Makolo, a 20 year old model/stylist and a creative director. I grew up here in Cape Town, I liked fashion since I was a little kid. When I was doing my matric I started doing shoots and stuff, I directed everything because I like creating new things, I like coming up with new ideas and implementing them.

Since then I've been collaborating with people and also doing my own shoots to show my creativity to the world and inspire people. Every shoot I'm doing has a meaning to it, I don't just wake up in the morning and decide to do a shoot. I plan everything first then look for the equipment I will need for the shoot also look for the clothes suitable for the shoot. Then find a photographer who I'm sure she/he will be willing to give me what I want.

As a person you need to challenge yourself by trying new things just to show how creative you are, and how comfortable/confident you are with your style and be able to work with other people so that you will improve and learn new things as an artist.
