Hi, I’m Nic Manshon.
Creativity, for me, started back when I was drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and entering Mother’s Day competitions for KTV. I always loved art as a kid and did it as a subject throughout my schooling career.
If I were to be totally honest, I never saw a career in creativity in high school, even though art was my highest marked subject.
Hence, I went to study personal training straight after high school and thereafter worked for Virgin Active for a while. Soon enough I realized that it wasn’t for me. Nonetheless, I believe nothing is lost with learning.
After having these feelings to change my career, I started exploring creativity again. That was a good choice!
The journey started out at CPUT, studying industrial design and serving at a local church, heading up the media department. After that, I got a scholarship for digital filmmaking at SAE. I never received a scholarship before so I was super stoked to do the course, not realizing what the future may hold.

Where am I in life at the moment? Well, I’m at ‘found my passion and chasing it.’

At the age of 21, I have been through enough to know what my future could hold, all because I know what I want to share with the world. I was never the girl who wanted to conform, I always wanted to stand out, to make an impact and if I were to inspire others I would want to inspire people to be themselves and to own their identity.

While studying Natural Medicine, I got anxiety and took time off from studies and that was a blessing in disguise. Through my experience, I learned more about myself and found a long lost passion- sewing and designing.  I started going through my mom and grandma’s pattern books falling in love with Vintage clothing. My dream is to create clothing that is vintage, classy, and chic yet keeping it modest.

If I were to explain my style, it would be liquid in the sense it is forever evolving. I love to think of a garment as a piece of art work. Someone or shall I say an artist took the time to think of the material to use, the pattern to make, the buttons to match and the fabric with which to contrast.

Coming from an Indian background that has influenced my love for Vintage wear with the 70s bohemian era. The paisley prints, tie dye, mirrored oriental finishes, and tassels, what’s not to love!
My aspiration is to create a brand in which people from different backgrounds or walks of life can appreciate. I hope my story can inspire others to find their passion and chase it.
