Nic Manshon

Hi, I’m Nic Manshon. Creativity, for me, started back when I was drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and entering Mother’s Day competitions for KTV. I always loved art as a kid and did it as a subject throughout my schooling career.  If I were to be totally honest, I never saw a career in creativity in high school, even though art was my highest marked subject.  Hence, I went to study personal training straight after high school and thereafter worked for Virgin Active for a while. Soon enough I realized that it wasn’t for me. Nonetheless, I believe nothing is lost with learning. After having these feelings to change my career, I started exploring creativity again. I will start off by saying that I Live to Love and Love to Laugh. I am a Seeker, always seeking new ways of doing things better, living a better quality of life, seeking ways to improve myself and seeking ways of making the world a better place. Its best attributed to that internal dialogue of competing with your old self. Have you grown, have you tried or done something new, are you reaching your goals. I think its great to have these conversations with oneself, whether it be through journaling or conversing with a close confidant. But please, have the conversation.

As a passionate entrepreneur, I am preoccupied with how I can make my mark doing what I love and being able to live a quality life from it. I think most people outside of the creative industry are blinded by the glamour and unaware of the harsh realities. I would implore anyone looking to join the industry to be as multi-skilled as possible – be a sponge and soak up all knowledge you gain, it will stand you in good stead.

My biggest aspiration is to live a life of purpose. It includes many aspects. - namely, to travel and explore different places and cultures as a local would.
