Hi, I’m Nic Manshon. Creativity, for me, started back when I was drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and entering Mother’s Day competitions for KTV. I always loved art as a kid and did it as a subject throughout my schooling career.  If I were to be totally honest, I never saw a career in creativity in high school, even though art was my highest marked subject.  Hence, I went to study personal training straight after high school and thereafter worked for Virgin Active for a while. Soon enough I realized that it wasn’t for me. Nonetheless, I believe nothing is lost with learning. After having these feelings to change my career, I started exploring creativity again. That was a good choice! The journey started out at CPUT, studying industrial design and serving at a local church, heading up the media department. I was born and bred in the desert country known as Namibia. I moved to South Africa in 2012 when I started my tertiary education journey.

It started in the small town of Potchefstroom where I studied music at the university of Potchefstroom. I then moved to the western Cape, Somerset West in 2013 where I then completed my degree in musical theatre at a college known as Pneumatix. I then decided that I wanted to get my advanced levels in dance as well so I moved over the the Waterfront theatre college in 2016 and will be graduating at the end of 2017 with my advanced level in modern, tap, ballet and jazz.

I've been asked by the theatre Gate69 in Bree street to be one of the dancers in their show currently running which started the 14th of February and will be closing on the 30th of June
