Crisco BL

My name is Sabelo Crisco Dlamini better known as Crisco BL. I’m an illustrator based in Durban. I’ve been illustrating for about a year & unlike other digital illustrators, I use my phone instead of a laptop to create my paintings.
My art is based on Depression, Anxiety & Anti Self Harm. The reason as to why I base my illustrations around these things is because I don’t think they are spoken of as much as they should be nor are they taken seriously. My illustrations or a form of self-reflection, things that I’ve gone through myself. I feel that in doing this, people can relate to my art as much as I do.

I'm a record producer, I go by the name Gustav. Im based in Pretoria and I'm working on a new sound for my upcoming EP titled "INTERNET". I'm also part of an electronic duo called PAPERKLIP with me on the production and vocals and Jay Carson on lead vocals together we have managed to share the stage with the likes of Spoek Mathambo, DJ Spoko, Moonchild, Emtee, A-Reece.

This track is coming off my upcoming debut ep "INTERNET" which will be dropping later on in the year ,the ep will include a number of genres from UK grime, trap, edm etc. I'm currently working with Sakhile Moleshe (former vocal leader of Goldfish) and a few upcoming musician/producers from Gauteng. This is the soundtrack to my campaign "Switching Lanes" which introduces new ways of styling retro gear, upcoming brands, a fresh way to approach a dull thing. I started off producing music for artists with the intention of building my brand as a producer but nowadays most producers don't get the credit for their work, I have never been the type to be limited when it comes to music production I'm always looking for a way to catch the wave. I'm encouraging every individual to step out of the box and work with what works for them.
