Nic Manshon

Hi, I’m Nic Manshon.
Creativity, for me, started back when I was drawing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and entering Mother’s Day competitions for KTV. I always loved art as a kid and did it as a subject throughout my schooling career.
If I were to be totally honest, I never saw a career in creativity in high school, even though art was my highest marked subject.
Hence, I went to study personal training straight after high school and thereafter worked for Virgin Active for a while. Soon enough I realized that it wasn’t for me. Nonetheless, I believe nothing is lost with learning.
After having these feelings to change my career, I started exploring creativity again. That was a good choice!
The journey started out at CPUT, studying industrial design and serving at a local church, heading up the media department. After that, I got a scholarship for digital filmmaking at SAE. I never received a scholarship before so I was super stoked to do the course, not realizing what the future may hold.

Gustav

I'm a record producer, I go by the name Gustav. Im based in Pretoria and I'm working on a new sound for my upcoming EP titled "INTERNET". I'm also part of an electronic duo called PAPERKLIP with me on the production and vocals and Jay Carson on lead vocals together we have managed to share the stage with the likes of Spoek Mathambo, DJ Spoko, Moonchild, Emtee, A-Reece.

This track is coming off my upcoming debut ep "INTERNET" which will be dropping later on in the year ,the ep will include a number of genres from UK grime, trap, edm etc. I'm currently working with Sakhile Moleshe (former vocal leader of Goldfish) and a few upcoming musician/producers from Gauteng. This is the soundtrack to my campaign "Switching Lanes" which introduces new ways of styling retro gear, upcoming brands, a fresh way to approach a dull thing. I started off producing music for artists with the intention of building my brand as a producer but nowadays most producers don't get the credit for their work, I have never been the type to be limited when it comes to music production I'm always looking for a way to catch the wave. I'm encouraging every individual to step out of the box and work with what works for them.
